Besides llamas, another trend I've been loving lately for a nursery or baby shower is woodland animals. Think foxes, deer, bears, hedgehogs, etc. And since I'm also of course very into cross stitching these days, I wanted to combine those interests and make a fox cross stitch pattern.
This fox cross stitch pattern would look great displayed in an embroidery hoop once completed. You'll need four colors of embroidery floss to make this little guy. Download the pattern below to view the DMC color chart.
Fox Cross Stitch Pattern
The fox cross stitch pattern is 50 stitches wide by 57 stitches tall, which comes out to 3 5/8" x 4 1/8" on 14 count Aida.
I'm hoping to turn this into a set with maybe 3 or 4 more woodland animals, but for now you can get your feet wet with the fox. I definitely need to make a hedgehog pattern... one of my favorite animals!
Happy stitching!
xoxo, Liz
